The Secrets Of Never Getting Old

I was excited when I read an article on Friday about Catherine Zeta-Jones. It revealed that her only beauty secret was that she "slathers" herself in aragon oil. I had some on my bathroom counter, so immediately after I read the article, I slathered my face in it. I did that five or six more times that day despite having to leave the comfort of home to travel to Las Vegas. I applied more of the oil on arrival at my hotel.

I stuck to my new beauty regimen all weekend. And then on Sunday, I came home and read another article refuting the first article. An op-ed piece about how CZJ is full of it. Her secret to not aging is due to a  combination of spending big bucks on "an army" of stylists, facialists and plastic surgeons. I was completely deflated.

I have very little to show for my three-day beauty regimen. Other than the new zit on my chin. The Mt. Everest of zits. Which makes me feel like a teenager again. I guess that may be the secret to anti-aging.

A new chapter

This may seem like my very first post, but I've been blogging since 2008 on my original blog "Cinderella After Midnight". I originally started blogging because I was working at a job that didn't give me a lot of time to write or freedom to express my own thoughts. I was a single woman over 40 when I started blogging. My life has changed in some remarkable ways since then.
