I’m so excited you’re here! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to help you write the story of your heart. I would love the chance to work with you and help you take your manuscript to the next level.
My passion is helping people tell their stories. I can’t remember when I wasn’t watching or reading a story and trying to disassemble it (much to my long-suffering husband’s chagrin) to understand how the writer put the pieces together to make it entertaining and engaging.
I earned an MFA in Cinema/Television from the University of Southern California and worked as a story analyst developing screenplays for feature films at Paramount Pictures, The Ladd Company, Lightstorm Entertainment, Baltimore/Spring Creek, USA Films, and MGM.
My background is in screenwriting, and I have been writing and developing manuscripts for twenty years. I am a published romance author including a Contemporary Romance series with holiday themes from Tule Publishing, as well as a YA Romantasy, and a YA Celebrity Romance novella from Inkspell Publishing. I want to share my knowledge and experience with you.
As a developmental editor my goal is to give you clear, concise actionable feedback that motivates you tell your story and sell it in today’s marketplace. I offer services for Adult, YA and NA novels. While I read all genre fiction, my focus includes: Women’s Fiction, Contemporary Romance (all subgenres), Historical, PNR, Romantasy, RomCom, and Cozy Mystery.
I offer four-to six week turnarounds on full manuscript critiques and developmental edits. Two-to-four weeks on query letter and query package critiques. If a faster turnaround is needed, please let me know. I will work with you in order to make your dreams come true.

Open to providing feedback on all stages of your story from outline to partial to completed manuscript.

An accountability package with weekly face-to-face meetings and check-ins to keep you on track. If you're looking for more frequent face-to-face meetings, in-depth story development, submission guidance, and additional contact via email or phone, a monthly rate might work best for you.

QUERY PACKAGE CRITIQUE (PLUS)
A good query introduces your protagonist, showcases your stakes and offers an irresistible hook. My query package critique includes in-document suggestions and comments using track changes in the letter and first pages as well as separate letter detail comments that will help you focus and refine your pitch. Includes a video consultation and second pass with in-line notes.

FULL DEVELOPMENTAL CRITIQUE (INLINE EDITS & SUMMARY)
Full manuscript critiques are my most popular service. I give only actionable feedback. To make sure you know what you’re doing well and what elements of your story still need work. I want you to develop your story. Asking a lot of questions so that you will sit down at your desk inspired and fully motivated to revise and make sure your manuscript is ready to query or self-publish.
